Investment Fund Consultation Findings
During summer 2024, we carried out a six-week consultation in the area around the Medway Power Station site to give stakeholders the opportunity to provide their thoughts and ideas and for us to capture this feedback. We are working with communities to and stakeholders to help shape the plans.
The findings of this consultation have been collated into a report which is available here.
Priority areas for Medway
The Medway Community Fund will give priority to applications in closest proximity to the station and those from the parish council areas of the Isle of Grain, Allhallows and Stoke Kent.
Priority will also be given to those projects that deliver on themes, identified during consultation:
- Service provision, such as local clubs, events, activities or groups
- Help with cost of living rises, including poverty relief and local food bank support
- Local venue and amenity improvements
