SSE has provisionally secured agreements for 3,581MW of de-rated electricity generation capacity for the delivery year, which runs from 1 October 2029 to 30 September 2030.

SSE is marking a significant milestone in the delivery of its industry-leading initiative, supporting communities across the UK and Ireland, as it celebrates investing more than £100,000 through its Thermal Community Benefit Fund. 

SSE’s Tarbert Next Generation Power Station in Co. Kerry has now entered full construction, with foundations and civil works underway following completion of early enabling works at the site.
