Introducing our Community Investment Fund
In 2024, SSE Thermal launched its flagship Community Investment Programme, designed to put people and communities at the heart of what we do. Since then, we are proud to celebrate investing more than £100,000 across the UK and Ireland, supporting over 70 grassroots projects and engaging more than 200 local organisations.
Our investment is targeted to local priorities, identified through extensive community consultation, and is tied to our six operational sites. This ensures that funding not only supports security of supply but also helps drive the transition to a renewables‑led energy future.
