Introducing our Community Investment Fund
SSE Thermal is launching a package of commitments, plans and activities that will help us to work more closely with the communities in which we already operate to help enhance the lives of local residents, school children, young people, businesses and the environment.
As part of this package, we are introducing a community investment fund of £25,000 per year (€25,000 in Ireland) for community projects around our existing operational sites.
Commitments to other community focused activities, such as engaging with local schools and colleges, inspiring the next generation of engineers, enhancing the local environment and volunteering in the local community are being enhanced and we are keen to understand local priorities linked to these areas.
